Terms of Service

Intervues Community is a members' space for practising engineering judgement. It includes a daily architectural discussion, a daily system-design brief, a space to post problems and get them reviewed, learning paths, and open-source projects you can join and contribute to.

We are not a recruiter, employer, or placement agency. We do not submit you to jobs and we do not guarantee any hiring, income, or career outcome.

The service is provided on an early-access basis. Features may change or be withdrawn.

You must be at least 16 years old. You sign in through GitHub, and you are responsible for everything done under your account.

Use your own GitHub account. Do not sign in as someone else or let someone else use your account.

Access to the community may be granted, limited, or revoked by us.

You keep ownership of what you write — your discussion arguments, design notes, problem posts and reviews. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, display and distribute that content within the product so other members can read it.

Posts are visible to other members. Treat everything you write here as seen by people you do not know. Do not post credentials, client information, other people's personal data, or anything you are under an obligation to keep confidential.

Your contributions may be scored and aggregated into your reputation and standing within the community.

When you join a project, you contribute to a GitHub repository belonging to that project's mentor. Your contributions are governed by whatever licence applies to that repository — read it before contributing.

Pull requests you open are automatically reviewed. That review sends the code you changed to a third-party AI provider; see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that means.

Automated review output is generated by a language model. It can be wrong. It is not a judgement of your ability, and the mentor makes the actual decisions.

You are not an employee, contractor, or agent of the mentor or of Intervues. Joining a project creates no employment relationship and no entitlement to payment. If a mentor wants to pay you or engage you commercially, that is a separate agreement between you and them, and we are not a party to it.

Do not harass, demean, or discriminate against other members. Argue with the position, not the person.

Do not plagiarise another member's post, note, or code and present it as your own.

Do not scrape the service, overload it, or try to exhaust our AI usage quotas.

Do not post unlawful, infringing, hateful, or sexually explicit content, and do not impersonate anyone.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, without prior notice where the breach is serious or ongoing.

Intervues Community is currently free to use. If we introduce charges we will say so clearly beforehand, and we will not start a recurring charge without your explicit agreement.

We own the Intervues name, brand, software, and the structure and wording of the prompts, briefs and generated outputs we produce. You may not copy, resell, or white-label the service.

You own what you write. We claim no rights beyond the licence described above.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that anything generated by an AI model will be accurate.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or career outcomes.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits. Where that is so, they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

You may stop using the service at any time or ask us to delete your account.

We may suspend or end your access for breach of these terms, to comply with law, or to protect the service or its members. The deletion rights in our Privacy Policy continue to apply after termination.

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
